Hi - we're back in the civilised world with access to all mod cons i.e. a telephone. We haven't killed each other and are still talking, now we are off the ship, thank god, I really don't think we could stay on there much longer - definitely getting cabin fever. That sounds like we didn't enjoy it, which isn't the case, it was just about 10 days too long - I would do it again for a journey of 10 days maximum. We've found ourselves a hotel which just about meets the basic definition i.e. a bed in a room and will probably spend the next 4 or 5 days looking around the city. Everything is a bit quiet at the moment as its Good Friday so we're looking forward to the weekend. BA is a beautiful city with lovely plazas and a meditterranean feel, easy to walk about and explore.
We'll down load the emails and reply to everyone as soon as we can, thanks for your responses. The web site has been updated with information and photos from Southampton to BA, take a look.
I've got a few favours to ask: I didn't have time to find any maps to show our route and progress, so if anyone out there can send us some maps of the world, south, central and north America, the Pacific, south-east Asia, Australia and New Zealand I would be very grateful.
Ciao, love
Will and Claire
