| What's new? We've added pictures for Washington DC, New York and Hong Kong, completed the journal for the 2nd part of the USA road trip, included a biography on our DC hosts: Paul, Johnna and Bear, as well as updated the Route and Kit Info and Site Map. In fact, we've been sooo busy with this site there's been no time to travel.
Just kidding - we've made it across the US from NYC to LA (sorry we didn't drop in to say hi to you Alicia), walked along Santa Monica and Venice beaches, oggled at Muscle beach (well one of us did). Lost a day crossing the International Date Line on our flight across the Pacific. Took a trip down memory lane in Hong Kong and are now in Bangkok and looking forward to our overland journey in South East Asia. We decided to change our itinerary for SE Asia from Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos to Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore because of time constraints and we'd have been going north instead of south - the direction we want to be heading in. This also means we conveniently miss the land mines in Cambodia, the floods in Vietnam and the bandits in Laos.
