| Women's | WISTA - Demark is a non-political association of women in shipping and trading.The Association was founded on 2 May 1990 on Copenhagen, although international WISTA conferences date back to 1974. WISTA's network can provide you access to professionals with a wide range of useful information. We aim to assist the profesional and personal development of our members. Presently, we have approximately 50 members on Denmark. |
| International | WISTA - Demark is a member of the umbrella organization WISTA, a worldwide association of decision-making women in the maritime indstusty. WISTA International's 400 members come from Europe, Afica, the Americas, Asia and Oceania. |
| Shipping | Our members include charterers, shipowners, operators, liner agents, forwarding agents and those in related service trades, e.g. maritome lawyers, safety and quality assurance managers and average adjusters. |
| Trading | WISTA includes bunker agents, import/export specialists and those in the shipping departments of trading companies. |
| Association | We hold meetings and arrangements at least twice a year; arrangememts which are professional, informative, creative and entertaining. |
