Welcome

WISTA _ UK NEWSLETTER

This is our second Newsletter.

Our first newsletter was welcomed by all our members. It brought a huge response and comments, together with some "cheque$" .

Last September only 8 members from the UK went to Finland for the Annual WISTA CONFERENCE. We had the pleasure of meeting our good old friends and colleagues, and the opportunity to meet new members.

In this our 2nd publication you will find that we have received contributions from the professionals, an article by James Brewer, a journalist from Lloyd's List, on "How the press see us as a womans' association". Also, contributions from our members, like Joanna Meadows, who has written an excellent piece on how the Finnish Conference went, and Carolyn Montenegro, the Panamanian Consul, who has written an article on her experience as a new comer to the Annual Conference.

We have also created a new section "What do we do!". The first article is written by Joan Allson, one of our members. We need to build a strong association where all of us form a working network, so with a little effort from us all, "we are doing it!". Thanks.
