Web Page Design
This isn't intended as a guide to web design. It's certainly not a technical guide, there are already plenty of those. This is just a little look at some of the reasons my web pages look the way they do.
I'm one of those people who believes web pages should be usable. I nod in agreement whenever people talk about separating content from presentation. But more than anything I think that the technical bits of web design should just get out of the way and let visitors get on with the important business of getting at the information.
