MajorHost.com, IntraHost.com, Tripod.de, Click-On.to and NetColony (6th Dec)
Gee I feel like I'm back in the swing of things. Today we have 4 new solutions. So get your browser over to the eliminate page and start enjoying ad-free services from MajorHost.com, IntraHost.com, Tripod.de, Click-On.to and NetColony. I have received an account at Free Sites Network (FSN). Over the next few days, I will try to add as many solutions as possible. Also, I am going to be looking at the Ad Free Alternatives page over the next few days and really try to start listing lots and lots of ad free alternatives. Also, FreeServers.com have updated their code, so two of the solutions we had no longer work. So, if the ad's started appearing on your site, head to the eliminate section and get one of the other solutions. The Software section will be also launching soon. We'll update our abusers list soon, too! So it's all happening at popBusters. So stay tuned and keep checking back for the latest and greatest from popBusters.

Some New Solutions, Some Modified Solutions... And Lots of Changes! (4th Dec)
Whoa! It's very busy here at popBusters. We've been receiving lots of e-mail and would like to thank all of you for the time that you take to suggest things, ask for help, give us solutions and tell us when our solutions aren't working. We appreciate it greatly.
We've added a new solution to the WebProvider(dot)com advertising (Cheers Adrian), Updated and Upgraded our solution for XOOM (Thanks to JohnC), as well as an upgrade to the WebJump and Web1000 solutions, Paul's given us a solution to Wigloo's banners, HomePage.com have updated their solution, so Brett Eden has given us a workaround, Jeff from Fravia's site and Andy have both given us solutions to kill the banner on FortuneCity, Angelfire have decided that all the people that have slaved to keep their sites under 250 kb will now have to suffer the wrath of pop-ups, thanks to Andy for a solution to that one, Ironheart's Fiberia solution has been added and we've implemented a new system of colour coding solutions (Thx to JohnC for suggesting it)
We're also going to update our site a lot over the next couple of months (December + January) and appreciate all your help telling us about free sites with and without ads, redirect services with and without ads and also your solutions. Thanks for your help so far and keep up the good work.

Excellent News for our Colleagues who use HitStation Redirect, V3 News, Solution to banners on Dream Water & Banner Design Competition??? (3st Oct)
Today's a great day. I've got news for people who use HitStation Redirect and also those who use V3 Redirect Services, but I'd like to know what happened to the banner design competition. HitStation users should head to our HitStation solution to kill the ads. People who use V3 would be happy to know that if your V3 URL is come.to/boris, will also be able to access it using boris.come.to really soon! After talking to Boris, we have initiated that change. V3 are also going to buy extra domains, and have changed their default ad option from pop-up to ad frame. I've also developed a solution to kill the ads on Dream Water, but it was hard, and I'd like to know what happened to the Banner Design Competition. I was hoping to see all sorts of great looking popBusters banners & buttons, but there were none to be seen. So, if you're good with graphics, please create a banner, and you could win the Banner Design Competition. I've extended the time until November 1st, 1999. So please, design a banner and submit it to us. Just e-mail it to popbusters@icon.zzn.com. This would be greatly appreciated.

Good News for Homesteaders and Something to Think About... (30th Sept)
I received an e-mail today from Boris, the guy who runs V3 Redirect. He was telling me how they don't like having pop-ups and they would really like to find another way to make money. They also offer a frames option, and a delay page. If you've got any other ideas, please head to our Forum which we're running for this "promotion" and give me any suggestions you have, so that I can pass them on to Boris. Also, if there's any way in which you think they can improve V3, please also visit the new Forum and tell us.

I received another e-mail from Paul Nile, who seems to be a growing force in ad removal, telling me how to kill the ads placed on Homestead web sites. If you're interested, or are a homesteader, please head to the Homestead solution and throw it into your site to kill the ads.

popBusters viewers might be interested in a interesting quote, which I believe is happening right before your very eyes:
"All censorships exist to prevent any one from challenging current conceptions and existing institutions. All progress is initiated by challenging current conceptions, and executed by supplanting existing institutions. Consequently the first condition of progress is the removal of censorships." - George Bernard Shaw

The HomePage.com banner has been killed!!! FINALLY!!! (28th Sept)
Yesterday we received an e-mail from Paul Nile, who has developed a solution to kill the ads on HomePage.com. I visited his test site, and sure enough, the ads were nowhere to be seen! This is excellent! Thing is, it's pretty simple to implement! So head off the the HomePage.com solution page and get the solution into your web site if you use HomePage.com. Also, I would like to point out that we've shifted servers. We're currently being hosted by UK Online, the UK's premier internet service provider. And just to clear it up, popBusters is an AUSTRALIAN web site. It's only being hosted on UK providers because my ISP isn't giving me any space. If you would like to host it, please e-mail popbusters@hello.net.au. As you have probably noticed, you get a fair bit of free advertising, and it could be good for your PR.

Keep killing those ads and we'll see you again soon!
