After you signup, go in and EDIT your preferences. Add this bit of code right after your 'Webpage Name' (the TITLE) and THWACK! No more pop-ups! It works by tricking the browser with a good old shot of Jawascript. Refer to the picture by Kendall Dawson for more help.
